A home away from home provided for both boys and girls separately accommodating student. The architecturally designed buildings and the surroundings offer a cool, green, pleasant and eco-friendly atmosphere which stimulates positive learning. It provides a lively environment which helps in healthy interaction among the students.
Internet Facilities:

  • Students can access the internet (24 x 7) by either wired or wireless.
  • Students can use the wired network by plugging the network cable in the network wall outlet.
  • Student can connect to the wireless network by selecting the network named sairam boys hostel or sairam girls hostel and use the WPA security key provided to students.

Central Library

Ayurvedha medical college library is spread about 5000 square ft with centralized AC and virtual library accommodating about 25 computers with high speed broad band connection. There are more than 10,000 books including Ayurvedha and modern medicine books. In our library we have 15 journals including national and international journals and magazines.

The College is easily accessible from Tambaram Railway Station by the state operated transport service. In addition, the college owns a fleet of 136 buses and these buses operate along nearly 115 routes in and around Chennai.     Panchakarma Theatre

    This is a full furnished theatre consisting of equipments and drugs, dhara yantra, vasti yantra, vamana, virechana and nasya table, massage table, steamer, nadi swedana yantra, and other facilities for conducting treatment for various diseases.

    For the emergency purposes hospital causality is being provided with 24*7 ECG facility to monitor the patient with acute illness.

    Lab

    A good laboratory facility with all necessary reagents and stains for microbiological and pathological investigations is available.

    USG

    X RAY

    For orthopedic and other clinical investigations involving chest, abdomen, kub, separate lounge for xray runs 24*7.

    Operation Theatre

    A well established operation theatre with all required equipments provides both pre operative and operative facility.operation theatre also consists of cssd room (central sterile supply department) for sterilization purposes.procedures like hemorrhoidectomy, fistulectomy, hysterectomy, excisional procedures, incision and drainage, herniorhaphy, lateral sphincterotomy are performed frequently under the supervision of anesthetist, visiting consultants and surgeons.

    Normal vaginal delivery and caesarian section are being performed under the guidance of obstetrician and pediatrician for the post natal care of both mother and the newborn.
