“Pillai kani amudhe ” workshop on “pregnancy to motherhood “was conducted in our college campus on 24th January 2019. 15 patients were screened and treatment was given, out of which one have got conceived and others are under regular follow up.

Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre welcomed it’s 18th batch of BAMS students.Parents and students were oriented with importance of Ayurveda. Principal, Director and all staff were present. Class toppers at University level Exams were awarded cash prizes during the induction function.
Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College conducted “AYUR UTSAV 2018” a mega camp on 20th December 2018, under which 5 adopted villages wherein around 500 patients were screened in a same day.

Debate show on Ayurveda” Scientific Evidences are required to prove Ayurveda ‘ vs ‘Scientific Evidences are not required to prove Ayurveda ‘ was done in Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College.Students from different Ayurvedic Colleges in the state participated.The Jury were Dr.Veeracholan, Senior Medical Officer and Former Member, CCIM and Dr.S.Swaminathan , Professor , SJS Ayurveda College, Chennai
3rd National Ayurveda day was celebrated in Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College on 1st December. It was a good start with RUn for Ayurveda-Marathon AAYURUN2018 flagoffed Ms.A.Chandralekha , National Athelete Champion. The winners and runners were given awards, prizes were distributed for winners of painting and essay writing competition of school students, awards to best speakers on debate show were given away by the chief guest of the Function, Mr.A.V.Anoop, Managing Director, AVA Cholayil Health care pvt ltd. and Special guest Dr.R.Kannan, President , IMPCOPS. Three Eminent Vaidyas Dr.TV Narayanan, Dr.TV Varadharajan, and Dr.Nagaraju were felicitated with Vaghbatta award .CEO Thiru. Sai Prakash Leo Muthu felicitated the guest and wishes the gathering
AAYURUN 2018 -RUN FOR AYURVEDA
In continuation of National Ayurveda Day ,we awarded the Dhanwantari and Caraka awards to eminent Ayurvedic Doctors of tamilnadu .Further we have conducted Drawing and Painting competition for school students and Prizes were awarded to the Winners.
AAYURUN 2018 -RUN FOR AYURVEDA is an initiative of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre to encourage public, the practitioners and students of Ayurveda and also to develop awareness in the society about Ayurveda Wellness. There is nothing as inspiring and motivating like a run to induce the right spirit and raise public awareness across the globe for a worthy noble cause still improving one’s own health and fitness. The starting point of this event is from Chennai ring road, Madanapuram, Mudichur at 6:15 am for 7.5 kms and from kiskintha bus stop at 6 am for 3.5 kms to endpoint College Campus of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College on Saturday 01/12/2018. IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESSFUL EVENT.WE WHOLEHEARTEDLY THANK EVERYONE WHO ARE PART OF IT.
