SSAMS final year student Aravind presented paper on Marma chikitsa at National Institute of Ayurveda at Jaipur and his paper was selected at national level. It is one among the three paper which is selected from South India.
Concluding the Poshan Mah (Nutrition month) program , SSAMC Students took a Rally at Somangalam village creating awareness about Healthy food, balanced diet and malnutrition on 24/09/19.
Dr. Mythili BAMS, PGDND, MSc, PhD (Dietitian), Alumni of SSAMC presented a guest lecture on 23/09/19 about Nutrition and Balanced diet with reference to our traditional food and their uses in prevention of Malnutrition.
As a part of Poshan Mah (Nutrition month), SSAMCH conducted awareness through exhibition of Nutritional food preparations and Diet regime (Pathya-Apathya) to the patients of our hospital on 23/09/19.
On the occasion of Poshan Mah (Nutrition Month), a special survey on Nutrition and Anaemia was conducted and data was collected digitally by SSAMCH on 20/09/19.
Free anaemia screening was done to the children of RCM school, Dharkast.
Also, the students were educated about malnutrition through story telling followed by quiz and Yoga demonstration by the students of SSAMCH.
A special medical camp at Tambaram Good life center was organized by SSAMCH on 11/9/19.
162 orphanage students, staff members and 44 persons from public got benefited from this camp.
