The Nature’s Club of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre organized an insightful awareness lecture on *Energy Conservation* on 10th September 2024. The session aimed to educate participants on the importance of conserving energy, promoting sustainable practices, and reducing environmental impact. Students and staff actively engaged in discussions on practical ways to contribute to energy conservation both in daily life and within the institution.

On 27th and 28th August 2024, the Institutional Innovation Council of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre hosted an Intra-Institutional Startup Competition in collaboration with Sri Sairam Engineering College. The competition provided a platform for students to present their innovative startup ideas, encouraging entrepreneurial thinking and fostering collaboration across disciplines. The event aimed to inspire young minds to pursue their business ventures and contribute to the growing startup ecosystem.

On 30th August 2024, the Institutional Innovation Council of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre hosted a Demo Day in collaboration with Sri Sairam Institute of Technology. The event showcased the innovative ideas and projects developed by students, offering a platform to exhibit their work through product demos and poster presentations. This collaborative initiative aimed to foster creativity and entrepreneurship, encouraging students to present their solutions to real-world challenges.

On 6th September 2024, the Institutional Innovation Council of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre, in collaboration with Sri Sairam Techno Incubator Foundation, hosted an internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon 2024. The event featured Dr. P. Velusamy, Joint Director of the Innovative and Incubation Centre for Health at Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai, as a jury member. This hackathon aimed to identify and nurture innovative ideas from students, providing them with a platform to solve real-world challenges through technology-driven solutions.

On 8th August 2024, the Institutional Innovation Council of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre hosted a dynamic panel discussion with Innovation and Startup Ecosystem Enablers. This insightful event was organized in collaboration with Sri Sairam Techno Incubator Foundation. The experts and enablers of the startup ecosystem engaged in an interactive session, sharing valuable perspectives on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the healthcare and technology sectors. The event provided students and budding entrepreneurs with the knowledge and inspiration to drive forward their innovative ideas and startups.

On the occasion of National Nutrition Week, SSAMC conducted an awareness talk on the theme “Nutritious Diets for Everyone” at PUPC Poonthandalam, an adopted school on 2/9/24. The event aimed to educate students about the importance of a balanced and healthy diet. Nutritious food items were also distributed to the children to promote healthy eating habits.

SSAMC, Institutional Innovation Council, in collaboration with the NSS Unit of Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, organized a outreach program at schools titled “an awareness and quiz program on innovation and Entrepreneurship” on 30th August 2024 at the adopted RCM School.

Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre organized “SAKSHAM” an Life Skill Workshop for internees on 23rd August 2024. The session was led by Mr. Hari P Gupta, a Master Trainer, Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council, A sector of the Prime Minister’s Skill India Program. The workshop aimed at equipping students with essential life skills to enhance their professional and personal development.
