We were honored to host Mrs. Eeish, Head of the Research and Knowledge Exchange Hub at the University of Nottingham Malaysia, at Sri Sai Ram Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital.

During her visit, fruitful discussions were held focusing on potential collaborative initiatives in the areas of research, academic exchange, and integrative healthcare development. The meeting highlighted mutual interests in fostering innovation and knowledge sharing between traditional Ayurvedic practices and global research methodologies.

Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre’s Institutional Innovation Council hosted a guest lecture on “AI and IoT: Practical Applications in Healthcare” on 3rd April 2025. The session was delivered by Dr. E. Padmini, President of the Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists (IABMS), Chennai Centre. The lecture provided insights into the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) in modern healthcare, highlighting their transformative impact on diagnostics, patient monitoring, and treatment strategies.

Students from the MBA Hospital Administration program at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, visited Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital on 17th March 2025 for a practical observation session.

The visit provided them with insights into hospital management, patient care, and Ayurvedic healthcare operations. Our team guided them through various departments, offering real-time exposure to the functioning of a healthcare facility.

The NSS volunteers from Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College, in collaboration with UBA volunteers from Sri Sairam Engineering College, successfully conducted a Leprosy Screening Survey in the village of Naduveerapattu on 19th and 20th February 2025.

This initiative aimed to identify potential cases of leprosy at an early stage and spread awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. Volunteers engaged with the local community, conducted screenings, and educated residents on leprosy prevention and healthcare measures.

The event was part of the institutions’ commitment to social responsibility and rural health development under the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA).
