On 25th April 2025, Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre’s Institution’s Innovation Council & Intellectual Property Cell, organized a special guest lecture to mark World Intellectual Property Day, featuring Dr. J.K. Pradhan, Joint Controller of Patents & Designs, Indian Patent Office – Chennai, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. Dr. Pradhan delivered an insightful session on the significance of intellectual property rights, patent procedures, and the integration of innovation within traditional medicine systems like Ayurveda. The event aimed to promote awareness about protecting creative and scientific contributions, encouraging students and faculty to explore the potential of patenting their innovations in the AYUSH sector.

TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on 24-04-2025

As part of the national mission to eliminate tuberculosis, Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital conducted a Health Awareness Camp on Latent Tuberculosis (LTB) at our Community Outreach Camp.

Say No to Tobacco Rally Conducted by Dept. of Agada Tantra & NSS Volunteers of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital  on 29-04-2025

The Department of Agada Tantra, in collaboration with the NSS volunteers of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital (SSAMC), conducted an impactful “Say No to Tobacco” rally at Nallur village on 29th April 2025.

The event was inaugurated by the Panchayat President, and saw active participation from students, faculty, and village residents. The rally aimed to spread awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use and advocate for a healthier, smoke-free community.

As part of the campaign:

Mega Free Health Camp Conducted by Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital in Association with NSS Unit of Sri Sairam Institute of Technology on 27-04-2025

Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, in collaboration with the NSS Unit of Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, successfully organized a Mega Free Health Camp on 27th April 2025 across nearby villages.

This initiative aimed at providing quality Ayurvedic healthcare services to rural communities, fostering wellness, and raising awareness about preventive health practices. A dedicated team of experienced Ayurvedic doctors, interns, and volunteers offered:

  • Free health consultations
  • Pulse diagnosis and personalized treatment guidance
  • Free distribution of Ayurvedic medicines
  • Health awareness sessions on lifestyle and diet

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the local population, reaffirming our commitment to community well-being and traditional healthcare outreach.

Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Health Awareness Camp Conducted at Manimangalam Village on 22-04-2025

As part of the one-year anniversary celebration of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital conducted a Health Awareness Camp in association with the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Sairam District Association, Tamil Nadu.

The camp was organized on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, at Manimangalam Village, aiming to spread awareness on holistic health practices and preventive care. Exploring Nature, the Ayurvedic Way on16-04-2025

On April 16th, 2025, the Dravyaguna Department of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital visited the State Forest Research Institute and State Forest Genetic Resources Tree Park, Chennai.

Students gained hands-on experience in identifying medicinal plants and understanding forest ecosystems—deepening their connection with the roots of Ayurvedic knowledge. A perfect blend of nature, learning, and tradition!

Learning Beyond The Classroom on 11-04-2025

On April 11th, 2025, students of the 2022–2023 batch from Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital visited the Sewage Treatment Plant near Koyambedu. Organized by the Department of SwasthaVritta, the visit provided hands-on exposure to wastewater management and its crucial role in public health. A meaningful step toward understanding environmental sanitation and community well-being.

National Education Day Celebrations on 07-04-2025

On 7th April 2025, as part of the National Education Day celebrations, the Institutional Innovation Council of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre organized a guest lecture on “Nanotechnology in Regenerative Medicine” by Prof. Inas Kamal Battisha from the Department of Solid State Physics, Physics Research Institute, National Research Center, Egypt. Prof. Battisha shared valuable insights into the interdisciplinary applications of nanotechnology in regenerative medicine, emphasizing its transformative potential in modern healthcare and its possible integration with traditional Ayurvedic practices. The session enriched the academic environment and encouraged innovative thinking among students and faculty.
