As part of the 11th Ayurveda Day Celebration, themed “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow,” Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Research Centre organised a special programme on 22 September 2026 at 9:30 AM at VRR Hall.

The programme was graced by Rtn. Ganapathy Suresh, District Governor Elect, Rotary District 3233, as the Chief Guest. The programme was conducted in the presence of Dr. Vanitha R. Muralikumar, Director, and Dr. P. A. Sudhir, Principal, Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Research Centre.

The event brought together students, faculty members and alumni to celebrate Ayurveda and recognise contributions towards its academic and professional development.

As part of the programme, the institution honoured two distinguished alumni, Dr. Babin Raj and Dr. Megalai, in recognition of their valuable contributions and inputs in the field of Ayurveda. The felicitation acknowledged their continued association with the institution and their contribution towards the advancement of Ayurveda.

The programme also included the distribution of prizes to students who secured the first, second and third positions in the Paper and Poster Presentation competitions conducted as part of the 11th Ayurveda Day celebrations. The students were felicitated for their academic efforts, research-oriented presentations and active participation.
