The Department of Agada Tantra, in collaboration with the NSS volunteers of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital (SSAMC), conducted an impactful “Say No to Tobacco” rally at Nallur village on 29th April 2025.

The event was inaugurated by the Panchayat President, and saw active participation from students, faculty, and village residents. The rally aimed to spread awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use and advocate for a healthier, smoke-free community.

As part of the campaign:

 Rally to raise awareness
 “No Smoking” posters in shops
 Interactive awareness talks
 Inaugurated by the Panchayat President

• “No Smoking” posters were displayed across local shops and public spaces
• Informational leaflets were distributed to residents
• Interactive awareness sessions were held with the public

This initiative marks another step forward in SSAMC’s ongoing commitment to community health and preventive education through Ayurveda and social outreach.
