RRC
The Red Ribbon, as an awareness ribbon, is used as the symbol for the solidarity of people living with HIV / AIDS and for the awareness and prevention of drug abuse and drunk driving. Red Ribbon Club is a movement started by the Government of India in schools and Colleges through which students will spread awareness over HIV / AIDS. In our college, the Red Ribbon Club is actively functioning with 40 volunteers.
NSS
The National Service Scheme is an Indian Government sponsored Public service program conducted by The Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports of The Government of India popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji’s Centenary year 1969. It is aimed at developing students’ personality through community service. NSS is a voluntary association of young people in college and Universities.
Activities
- Free Medical camps including free medicines and consultation in nearby villages and towns
- Tree plantation program
- Rallies for various social awareness themes in association with other social organizations.
- Various disease awareness programs
- Participation in National Health Programs

- Free Eye camp with distribution of free Spectacles and surgery
- Personality development programs
- Various cultural programs to create awareness of diseases (both communicable and non communicable) to common man and also for school children
- Social Services to the needy people.
