For the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024 grand event held on 11th December 2024, with participants from all over India, Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College Hospital functioned as the First Aid Unit. Parent-Teacher Meeting for the 1st Professional students was held on the 21st and 22nd of November 2024 at Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre. The meeting provided a valuable platform for teachers and parents to discuss the academic progress, overall performance, and areas for improvement of the students. Exploring Ayurvedic Research II Prof BAMS Students Visit CSMCRI on 18-11-2024
On 18th November 2024, the Dravyaguna Department organized an educational visit for the II Prof BAMS students of our college to the Captain Srinivasa Murty Central Drug Research Institute, under the CCRAS (Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences). The visit aimed to enhance the students’ understanding of the research methodologies, advanced drug development processes, and the integration of traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with modern scientific advancements. Students had the opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art facilities, interact with experienced researchers, and gain valuable insights into the institute’s contributions to Ayurvedic medicine and pharmacological research.

During the visit, they toured all the departments in the hospital and they had the opportunity to interact with Dr. Vanitha Murlikumar, the founder and chairman of Dhanwanthralaya Ayurveda Speciality Hospital, and gained valuable knowledge about specialized Ayurvedic treatments and practices.
