National Ayurveda day – Seminar & Herbal Expo
As a part of National Ayurveda Day celebrations, SSAMC conducted forenoon session on 09/11/19 with a seminar consisting of Paper and Poster presentations by Ayurveda students and a Guest Lecture by Dr. Hemantha Kumar HOD Shalya Tantra National Institute of Ayurveda.
The session also included a Herbal Expo as well as display of instruments used in Pancakarma and Shalya Tantra.
Dhanwantari Jayanthi
On the occasion of Dhanwantari Jayanthi and National Ayurveda day a Special Homam was performed on 25/10/19 at SSAMCH.
World Osteoporosis Day
On the occasion of World Osteoporosis day, SSAMCH in association with the Rotary Club Tambaram conducted a special medical camp and tested Bone mineral density and other lab tests on 22.10.19.
Rotary president Thiru.V S Kumaran and Ms. Yoko Miyamoto, Member Indo-Japanese cultural Association participated in the program.
SSAMC internees presented papers in National Seminar at Tenkasi conducted by All India Ayurveda Congress and AMOAT. Dr. Renita bagged 1st prize and Dr. Nancy won the 2nd prize.
National Level Competition
SSAMS final year student Aravind presented paper on Marma chikitsa at National Institute of Ayurveda at Jaipur and his paper was selected at national level. It is one among the three paper which is selected from South India.
On the occasion of World Heart Day, SSAMCH conducted a free Medical Camp at Thirumudivakkam on 29/09/19. Free health check up, ECG, Blood test, Eye check-up and free medicines were given to patients.

Concluding the Poshan Mah (Nutrition month) program , SSAMC Students took a Rally at Somangalam village creating awareness about Healthy food, balanced diet and malnutrition on 24/09/19.
