World Osteoporosis Day
On the occasion of World Osteoporosis day, SSAMCH in association with the Rotary Club Tambaram conducted a special medical camp and tested Bone mineral density and other lab tests on 22.10.19.
Rotary president Thiru.V S Kumaran and Ms. Yoko Miyamoto, Member Indo-Japanese cultural Association participated in the program.
SSAMC internees presented papers in National Seminar at Tenkasi conducted by All India Ayurveda Congress and AMOAT. Dr. Renita bagged 1st prize and Dr. Nancy won the 2nd prize.
19th Induction Day
SSAMC conducted 19th induction day on 16/10/2019 chief guest Dr. Radhika ( HOD, Anna hospital ) Dr. Ramadas ( principal SJS Ayurveda college ) attend as guest of honors and Dr. Vanitha Muralikumar ( Director of sai ram Ayurveda college) and
Dr. Ramakrishnamacharya ( Principal SSAMC) were addressed the gathering. Dr. Vanitha Muralikumar (Ex president- CCIM) adviced the students to become a good Ayurveda doctor and service the society . Dr. Aleem senior professor gave vote of thanks.

SSAMS final year student Aravind presented paper on Marma chikitsa at National Institute of Ayurveda at Jaipur and his paper was selected at national level. It is one among the three paper which is selected from South India.
On the occasion of World Heart Day, SSAMCH conducted a free Medical Camp at Thirumudivakkam on 29/09/19. Free health check up, ECG, Blood test, Eye check-up and free medicines were given to patients.

Concluding the Poshan Mah (Nutrition month) program , SSAMC Students took a Rally at Somangalam village creating awareness about Healthy food, balanced diet and malnutrition on 24/09/19.

Dr. Mythili BAMS, PGDND, MSc, PhD (Dietitian), Alumni of SSAMC presented a guest lecture on 23/09/19 about Nutrition and Balanced diet with reference to our traditional food and their uses in prevention of Malnutrition.
