NSS

The National Service Scheme is an Indian Government sponsored Public service program conducted by The Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports of The Government of India popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji’s Centenary year 1969. It is aimed at developing students’ personality through community service. NSS is a voluntary association of young people in college and Universities.

Activities

  • Free Medical camps including free medicines and consultation in nearby villages and towns
  • Tree plantation program
  • Rallies for various social awareness themes in association with other social organizations.
  • Various disease awareness programs
  • Participation in National Health Programs

Special Camp

  • Free Eye camp with distribution of free Spectacles and surgery
  • Personality development programs
  • Various cultural programs to create awareness of diseases (both communicable and non communicable) to common man and also for school children
  • Social Services to the needy people.

Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College has participated in educational fair “ADUTHA ILAKKU” conducted on 7th April 2019 where around 100 students were enrolled. Students were educated about scope of Ayurveda and admission procedures in our college.

Workshop on Nadi Pareeksha- Rhythm of Human Consciousness 2nd session was organised on 19 February 2019 by Dept of Roganidana ,Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College,Inagurated by Dr.Vanitha Muralikumar, Dr.Vinayak Vitthal Tayade, Professor from Smt.K.G.M.P.AyurvedMahavidyalaya, Mumbai. took up the session and training along with . Students were exhilarated by learning this technique.
