Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon 2024 on 06-09-2024
On 6th September 2024, the Institutional Innovation Council of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre, in collaboration with Sri Sairam Techno Incubator Foundation, hosted an internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon 2024. The event featured Dr. P. Velusamy, Joint Director of the Innovative and Incubation Centre for Health at Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai, as a jury member. This hackathon aimed to identify and nurture innovative ideas from students, providing them with a platform to solve real-world challenges through technology-driven solutions.

Promoting Healthy Eating National Nutrition Week Awareness at SSAMC on 02-09-2024
On the occasion of National Nutrition Week, SSAMC conducted an awareness talk on the theme “Nutritious Diets for Everyone” at PUPC Poonthandalam, an adopted school on 2/9/24. The event aimed to educate students about the importance of a balanced and healthy diet. Nutritious food items were also distributed to the children to promote healthy eating habits.

RRC
The Red Ribbon, as an awareness ribbon, is used as the symbol for the solidarity of people living with HIV / AIDS and for the awareness and prevention of drug abuse and drunk driving. Red Ribbon Club is a movement started by the Government of India in schools and Colleges through which students will spread awareness over HIV / AIDS. In our college, the Red Ribbon Club is actively functioning with 40 volunteers.
NSS
The National Service Scheme is an Indian Government sponsored Public service program conducted by The Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports of The Government of India popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji’s Centenary year 1969. It is aimed at developing students’ personality through community service. NSS is a voluntary association of young people in college and Universities.
