Bridging Education & Innovation Sri Sairam Ayurveda IIC’s School Outreach on 27-02-2025

Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre’s Institutional Innovation Council (IIC) successfully organized an outreach program on 27th February 2025 at Zion Matriculation Higher Secondary School, East Tambaram, Selaiyur, Chennai.

This initiative aimed to foster innovation and creativity among school students by engaging Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) and the School Innovation Council (SIC). Through interactive sessions, students were introduced to problem-solving techniques, design thinking, and the significance of innovation in various fields.

Mammogram Check-up Camp at Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital on 13-02-2025 & 14-02-2025

Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, in collaboration with ACS Medical College, successfully conducted a two-day Mammogram Check-up Camp on 13th and 14th February 2025. This initiative was aimed at promoting early detection and awareness of breast health among women, ensuring timely diagnosis and preventive care.

Highlights of the Camp:

  • Free Mammogram Screening: Women from various age groups availed the opportunity for early breast cancer detection.
  • Expert Consultation: Senior radiologists and healthcare professionals from ACS Medical College provided expert evaluations and guidance.
  • Awareness Sessions: Informative sessions were conducted on breast health, self-examination techniques, and lifestyle modifications for prevention.
  • Large Beneficiary Turnout: A significant number of women benefited from this initiative, reinforcing the importance of proactive healthcare.

The camp emphasized the critical role of early screening in breast cancer prevention and treatment. By providing free access to mammogram screenings, we took a step towards empowering women with the knowledge and resources needed to prioritize their health.

Cancer Awareness Walkathon on 12-02-2025

Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital successfully organized a Cancer Awareness Walkathon on 12th February 2025 to spread awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and holistic healing approaches. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from our students, faculty, and staff, who actively engaged in educating the public about the importance of a healthy lifestyle in cancer prevention.

The walkathon commenced from our college premises and covered key locations, ensuring maximum public reach. Holding banners, placards, and informative pamphlets, our participants conveyed vital messages on cancer awareness, emphasizing the significance of early screening, dietary modifications, and the role of Ayurveda in cancer management.

The initiative was well-received by the community, with many individuals showing interest in understanding preventive healthcare and holistic treatments. Our students, as future Ayurvedic physicians, took this opportunity to interact with the public, addressing their queries and explaining the impact of lifestyle changes on overall well-being.

Himalaya Wellness Company Honors Toppers and Supports Interns on 10-02-2025

On February 10, 2025, Himalaya Wellness Company honored top-performing students of Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital with cash awards and provided starter kits to all interns.
