Event Under: Institution Innovation Council (IIC), 4th Quarter – 2024-25
Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Research Centre, under the banner of the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), organized a session on “Angel Investment / VC Funding – Opportunity for Early Stage Entrepreneurs” on 25th September 2025 at the Sri Sairam Incubation Center Seminar Hall.
The session was graced by Mr. Arvind Subramanian, Angel Investor and Co-founder of Enlighten Capitals, Chennai, as the Chief Guest.
The interactive talk covered:

• The importance of Angel Investors and Venture Capital funding for startups.
• How early-stage entrepreneurs can prepare themselves to attract investments.
• Key strategies to pitch innovative ideas and scale business models.
• Real-time insights into the entrepreneurial ecosystem and funding opportunities.

The event aimed at nurturing innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among students, encouraging them to think beyond conventional career paths and explore start-up opportunities.
The program witnessed active participation and created an inspiring platform for aspiring innovators to connect theory with practical investment insights.
This initiative highlighted our institution’s commitment towards promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and start-up culture in alignment with the goals of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) framework.
