Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College & Research Centre participated in the 11th Ayurveda Day celebration organised by the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Regional Campus, Chennai, on 23 September 2026, from 11.30 AM to 1.00 PM through the Microsoft Teams platform.

The programme featured Dr. Vanitha R. Muralikumar and Dr. R. Ashok Kumar, M.S. (Ayu), who shared their perspectives on Ayurveda and its relevance in promoting health and holistic well-being.

The session aimed to create awareness about the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, its preventive healthcare approach, and the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle practices. The interaction provided an opportunity to highlight the significance of traditional medical knowledge and the role of Ayurveda in maintaining overall wellness.

The virtual programme enabled participants from the National Academy of Direct Taxes to gain insights into the relevance of Ayurveda in everyday life and understand the importance of integrating healthy habits into their daily routines.

The event formed part of the institution’s efforts to commemorate the 11th Ayurveda Day, underlining the importance of Ayurveda in advancing holistic health and well-being.
